Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
These verses have really come to mean a lot to me in the last year of my life. January 12, 2017, was the day I headed north with NYP as my destination. It was a Big step out of my comfort zone into an unknown future. That is unknown to me, but I'm very grateful that it has never been unknown by God. I know He has guided and directed my life and led me here.
I've dreamed of doing mission work ever since I was young. But I never dreamed that the opportunity would be to the North. I taught Bible School in Kenora at Steve Beiler's for several summers, and through that developed an interest in the North. I'm so thankful for this opportunity that He's given me here, and I desire to use my time here for His Glory and to bless others.
I work in the NYM department of the business office. My job is really quite varied. I mail TNF; pack for different workshops and PR trips; produce DVD's and literature; order books when necessary to maintain our inventory; process orders from the website, mail, email, or by phone; and I order a Lot of stuff for PWTC. This also involves entering the stuff into our inventory system and then getting it priced to sell. Sometimes it feels like there's a lot to keep up with, but I do really enjoy my job. I've also really enjoyed the times of helping out at Youth Retreat and going along to Eagle Lake for Sunday School.

Father God, Thank-you for the way You've led and worked in my life. Thank-you for being my source of Life and Strength. May my life be a reflection of You to the world around me. May I use my life to do Your Will, and may my time here be a blessing in the lives of those around me.
